Kate O'Hearn is the author of the Pegasus series, Valkyrie, Titans, and many other books. She was born in Canada, raised in New York, and currently resides in England. Personal life[]
Kate was born in Toronto, Canada. She has 3 brothers and is an only girl. Kate describes herself with the song “I was born under a wandering star”, saying that she would travel a lot, and New York was the closest she had to a home, even though she lived in other cities such as Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, San Francisco and some towns.
She lived in an apartment in New York, which she mentions was the same apartment that Pegasus crashes on in Pegasus and the Flame of Olympus.
Kate says she was a creative and imaginative child, and would imagine being on different adventures wherever she went. She also says that she was a very independent child, and put on her clothes on her own as a young child.
She also says that she is very shy, despite everything, and doesn't have many pictures of herself on media.
She hates using technology, saying that she "will NEVER have an IPhone or, tablet or any of those other new fangled things. I’ll just sit here by my candle light, using my quill and ink well and relish memories of the past." gtat4bh
